Herbert Toms III
Chairman

Mr. Herbert A. Toms III is co-founder of MDR Specialty Distribution Corporation, a wholesale medical supplier distributor with revenues in excess of US$50,000,000 per year. Mr. Toms has been in the medical device supply business for over 12 years. Mr. Toms brings extensive experience and knowledge to Pyng Medical regarding both domestic and international medical device warehousing and distribution.

 


 Kevin O’Neill
Co-Chairman

Kevin O’Neill is an established business leader in the Canadian high technology sector, and has extensive experience successfully commercializing new technologies.

Kevin is the North American Sales Director for MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd (MDA), a global leader in providing advanced information solutions for business and government organizations worldwide. Under his leadership, the Company has achieved record annual sales growth and developed several new markets. Kevin has a broad depth of industry-related experience, having excelled in previous senior executive roles encompassing research, systems development and marketing.

He is also a member of prominent industry committees and organizations, including the Board of Directors, Geomatics for Informed Decisions (GEOIDE), a Canadian Networks of Centres of Excellence (NCE). He is also Past-Chairman & Director of the Geomatics Industry Association of Canada (GIAC).


L. J. "Bud" Evans, Jr.
 Director & Chairman Audit & Finance Committeeee 

Mr. Bud Evans is President and Chief Executive Officer of the SFI Financial Group, Inc.

He is Vice Chairman of the Board of Altarum (formerly the Environmental Research Institute of Michigan, the inventor of SAR radar and developer of numerous “Black” technologies), a Board Member of Solutions Design Group, SafeLife Corp., Pixel Velocity, Terra Card Services, Inc., Ex-RAD, and a former Board Chairman of EOTech, Inc. and ART Inc.

Mr. Evans served as the Chairman of the White House Cabinet Council on Technology Commercialization, as a Member of National Research Council Applications Board, as the Head of NASA Commercial Technology and as a former Senior Executive at the White House, NASA and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.


 Robert (Bob) Di Silvio
 Director

Bob Di Silvio is Senior Vice President of Lumenis North America.  Lumenis is the world's leading Laser and light-based medical products company.

Bob previously served in a variety of senior executive positions including President & Chief Executive Officer for Pyng Medical leading the launch of the CRICTM and FASTxTM into the marketplace.  He also served as Vice President & General Manager with Safe Life Corp, which develops, manufactures and market TriosynTM, an antimicrobial agent used in a wide range of applications.  In this role, Bob was responsible for all revenue generated from commercialized product sales, pursuing and negotiating worldwide sales and distributorship contracts as well as facilitating the highest quality of product and customer service to ensure efficiency and maximum profit.  Bob served as Vice President of US Field Operations (300M+) for the Physio-Control division of Medtronic, the leading manufacturer of cardiac biomedical devices.

In addition to a Masters in Biochemistry and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Organic Chemistry from the University of Connecticut, Bob also completed three years at the University of Rome School of Medicine.


 COL Dr. Alan Moloff
  Director 

COL (RET) Dr. Alan Moloff, D.O., MPH retired from the Army after 30 years of exemplary service. He has had numerous assignments in Special Forces including the 7th and 10th Special Forces Groups, commander of the Special Operations Medical Training program and Army Special Operations Command.

He was the commander of the 212th M.A.S.H., U.S. Army Aeromedical Center and the Defense Medical Readiness Training Institute from July 2002 through January 2006. During this last assignment at DMRTI he was focused on joint medical readiness, combat casualty care and had DOD oversight of the medical aspects of Homeland Security training and education regarding CBRNE and complex disasters.

He is the past president of the Special Operations Medical Association, Fellow of the Aerospace Medical Association and American College of Preventive Medicine. He is a founding member of the new American Board of Disaster Medicine. He has faculty appointments at the Medical College of Georgia and is the Senior Medical Officer for the Global Center for Disaster Medicine and Humanitarian Assistance at the University of South Florida.

Board Certified in Aerospace, Undersea and Disaster Medicine, Dr. Moloff currently serves as a speaker and consultant for disaster response, medicine, planning, training and education to private industry and government organizations.


 Michael W. Jacobs
 Director

Michael W. Jacobs is the Founder of Pyng Medical Corp. and a co-developer of FAST1® Intraosseous Infusion System. Michael has been instrumental in raising in excess of $5.5 million to support research, development, FDA market clearance, and commercialization of FAST1®.

Michael has served in all aspects of the company’s development including Chairman, President, CEO, and CFO. Michael currently serves as a Director and member of the Audit Committee.

Since the Company’s inception in 1992, Michael has devoted his energies to the commercial success of FAST1®. Under his leadership, FAST1® has been adopted by key emergency medical supply distributors in America. He has been instrumental in facilitating both early and continued adoption of FAST1® into the US Military, and subsequent early adoption by the Canadian, British and German Military; he was also responsible for the commercial launch of FAST1® into Europe.
